Walter Paul Cousins Jr., 84 of Kittanning, passed away Monday, July 19, 2021 at home. He was born March 31, 1937 in Kittanning to the late Ruby and Walter Cousins Sr. He was a laborer in Union 952. Walter was a member of the Church of God on Wilson Avenue. He also belonged to the Kittanning Men’s Club and Kittanning Eagles. 

He enjoyed sitting on the porch drinking a cold one. He enjoyed cleaning up junk copper and metal Gary gave him. He loved playing ball with his dog Willie, petting his cats and dogs Gracie, Happy, Willie, and Shoe String. 

Survivors include his wife Doris Cousins of Kittanning; son James Cousins of Kittanning; son Jerry (Kim) Cousins of Columbus, Ohio; son Jack (Donna) Cousins of Pataskala, Ohio; daughter Paula (Chris) Flick of Kittanning; son Gary Cousins of Kittanning; son Terry Cousins of Kittaning; son Walter Paul (Marsha) Cousins III of Kittanning; sisters Pat (Larry) Hartman, Betty (Larry) Gaiser, Carolyn Lewis, and Debbie (Dennis) Woyton; brother James (Pat) Cousins; 10 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister Connie Cousins; daughter Doris Joann Cousins-Westwood; infant son John Walter Cousins; brother in law William Lewis. 

Friends will be received on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 from 10:00 am until the time of the service at Noon at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Kittanning with Rev. Richard Molgaard officiating. Interment is in the Kittanning Cemetery.
