Kole Alfred Philip Sova Obituary

Age 19, of Leoni Township, passed away July 17, 2021.He is survived by his parents Jerry M. and Meeka E. (Trudell) Sova Jr.; brother, Brady Sova; sister, Dominique Whitehead; aunts: Susan Sova, Connie Sova, Danielle Smith (Tim), Michelle Smith; uncle, Marvin (Aimee) Potts Jr.; grandparents, Sally and Ralph Green and David and Marilyn Smith and many cousins.  He was preceded in death by his grandfather Jerry Sova Sr.  Kole was a 2020 graduate of Michigan Center High School where he led his class academically and served as President of the National Honor Society.  He was a gifted three sport athlete lettering in football, baseball and basketball. Kole had a big heart, giving time and aid to those who were in need, collected baseball cards and enjoyed video games. He had a strong work ethic and was a full-time employee of Jiffy Mix while simultaneously attending college.  A Mass of the Resurrection will be at St. Mary’s Star of the Sea Church in Jackson on Saturday, July 24, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. with Father Tim Nelson officiating. The family will receive friends at Michigan Center High School on Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. and at the Church on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until service time. The family would direct any Memorial Contributions be made to the Michigan Center Cardinal Club.
