Gloria Marie Long

Age 74, of Cadillac, previously of Mt. Morris, passed away Monday, July 19, 2021, at Curry House Assisted Living. A Funeral Service will take place at 12:00 noon, on Thursday, July 22, 2021, at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. The family will be present to receive friends from 11:00 am until the time of service at 12:00 noon. Memorial contributions can be directed to The American Cancer Society or Hospice of Michigan. Gloria was born in Flint, Michigan, on February 3, 1947, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George and Iola M. (Nottingham) Fejedelem. Educated locally, Gloria graduated from Hamady High School with the Class of 1965. Working as a Customer Service Associate at Citizens Bank and then for First Merit Bank for 15 years, Gloria retired in November of 2013. Gloria enjoyed camping with her children all over Michigan. Even now, she spent time traveling up north to visit with her high school classmates that she has stayed in touch with all these years. She helped organize her class reunions each year. Gloria enjoyed the water and canoeing was one of her favorite escapes. When she lived in The Highlands in Mt. Morris, she was an avid line dancer and enjoyed spending time at the senior center. Gloria had a beautiful flower garden and enjoyed spending her time tending to her flowers. She also had a pretty amazing teddy bear collection. In her free time, Gloria enjoyed reading Danielle Steele novels and Mary Higgins Clark mysteries, playing cribbage, and sewing, but most of all, Gloria loved her family and will be greatly missed. Left to cherish Gloria’s memory are her favorite daughter, Jacquelyn (Tony) Hajdu, and her favorite son, Timothy (Lisa) Wood; brothers: George (Linda) Fejedelem and Richard (Claudia) Fejedelem; grandchildren: Brian, Isabella, Casey (William), Joshua, Alexandra, Parker; great-grandchildren: Abigayl, Isiah, Noah, Grayson; several nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Gloria was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
