Lloyd Ray Perry Obituary

Lloyd Ray Perry, age 74, of Troy, OH passed away on July 17, 2021 at his home.  He was born on July 4, 1947 in Whitley City, KY to the late Floyd Russel and Verdie (Bryant) Perry.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years: Judy M. (Arnett) Perry; daughter: Robin (Todd) Hensley of MS; three stepchildren: Tonia (Russell) Morris of West Milton; Annette Gibboney of Tipp City and Mark Gibboney of West Milton; grandchildren: Aspen Hensley; Ailisa Hensley; Michael Morris; Kelly Morris; Jessica Ellis; Lydia VanKirk; Josh VanKirk; Chad Gibboney and Matthew Gibboney; great grandchildren: Emily, Leah, Seth, Luke, Alivia, Aslyn, Jacob, Dominick, Fraya and Raylen; siblings: twin brother: Lowell (Ruby) Perry of Troy; Doris Whipp of Troy; Chester (Norma) Perry of Christiansburg; Harold Perry of Piqua and Larry “Ed” Perry of Christiansburg and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings: Doyle Perry; Bernard Perry; Vera Fries and Jean Perry.

Lloyd served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War.  He retired after many years of service with Dayton Chrysler.  Lloyd’s love of his life was his 1970 Monte Carlo and most of all his race cars and his years of racing.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at the Dayton National Veterans Cemetery.  Procession will depart Baird Funeral Home, Troy at 10:00AM.
