It is with great sadness that the family of Grace Margaret Hogg Lichti, 89, of Bronx, NY, announce her departure to God Almighty on Thursday, July 15, 2021 after a long and well-lived life. Grace was predeceased by her parents, Josephine and Glenmore Hogg, and her beloved husband, Russell Paul Lichti. She is survived by her loving children, Lynn Ann Medaglia, Russell Paul Lichti Jr. (Angela Lichti), and Laura Grace Petrocelli (Jimmy Petrocelli), and by her siblings, Josephine Byrnes and Alfred Hogg. She was the proud grandmother of Amanda Grace Petrocelli, Russell Paul Lichti III (Jessica Lichti), James Michael Petrocelli, Lauren Petrocelli, Nicholas John Medaglia, Louis Paul Petrocelli, John Russell Lichti, and great-grandmother of Emma and Angelina Lichti. She will be forever loved and cherished and deeply missed by her family, extended family members, and dear friends. Grace was an incredible person who positively impacted everyone she met. Spending time with her family brought her great joy. She had a special bond with the family dog, Rocky, who followed her everywhere she went. At the age of 89, Grace had the mind, physique, and stamina of a young woman. She will forever be remembered for both her generosity of spirit and thoughtful candor. Grace’s many admirable traits also included her strong will, fierce determination, incredible sense of humor, compassion, and kindness. Grace had a passion for philanthropy, which she practiced and encouraged. She had a talent for gardening, weeding, and organizing. She loved trips to the casino, lottery tickets, family LBI vacations, frequent shopping trips, and Haagen-Dazs ice cream sodas. A funeral Mass will be held at St. Frances de Chantal Church located at 190 Hollywood Ave, Bronx, NY 10465 on Tuesday, July 20th at 11am. Ferncliff Cemetery, 280 Secor Rd, Hartsdale, NY 10530 In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to St. Judes Children’s Hospital.
