Donita Shirley Reece, 73, of Eatonton passed away at her residence on Friday, July 16, 2021. She was born in Rome, Ga., to the late Harold and Sarah Ozment Womack. She had lived in Eatonton for 37yrs. and had worked for Horton Trucking as an office manager. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Rome. She enjoyed cross stitching, but her true passion was spending time with her family and spoiling her grandkids. A visitation will be held Sunday, July 18, 2021 from 4-6pm at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel. She is survived by her loving husband, Herman Reece, a daughter Courtney (Kyle) Gourley. Her granddaughters Whitney Reece and Ally Brooke, as well as a brother Brad Womack and several nieces and nephews.
