Stephen M. York
Stephen M. York, 70, of Dunnellon, FL passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at West Marion Community Hospital in Ocala, Florida. Stephen was born on Feb. 7th, 1951 at the Orthopedic Hospital in Portland, Maine. He was the son of the late Charles and Pauline (Leeman) York. At 4 months old, Stephen and his parents moved to California where he attended local schools. When he was 26 yrs old, he moved back to Maine. Stephen worked several years at Fairchild Semiconductor where he met his beloved wife of 39 years, Priscille (LaBrecque). Stephen enjoyed golfing and playing tennis in his younger days. He was also an avid New York Yankees Fan Stephen leaves behind his beloved wife of 39 years Priscille, 2 daughters, Tonya York of Sanford and Charity Bartlett of Standish and one grandson, Cody York of Bangor; granddaughters Dolores (Dolly) and Gracie Bassett from Standish, and his fur babies Molly and Abbi. He was predeceased by his brothers Jon and David York. A graveside memorial will be held on Friday, Aug. 6th at 11:00 am at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Biddeford.Obituary
