Katie Wallace was born in Lee Mississippi September 6, 1929 to Robert & Canary Wallace. The family moved to Kansas City Kansas in 1945 with one grandson Shereal McNeal. Katie work for a while before she married Bennie Drew and was blessed with two children Bennie Jr. and Cathy. Both parents, Bennie, Herston, Robert Jr., Pearly and Cathy preceded her in death . Katie loved shopping at the Thrift Stores and the entertainment of family and grandchildren. She joined Palestine in the early 80's and enjoyed studying about Jesus, Sunday school and wearing her handmade hats. Katie worked at Lake City, Whittaker Cable and the Salvation Army daycare before finally retiring.
