Joan was born on July 7, 1940 in Grand Island, Nebraska to Alvin Roberts and Ester Rowley. She passed away on July 6, 2021 at the age of 80, one day short of her 81st birthday. Joan was preceded in death by her parents, five siblings and one very special friend, Robert Inman whom she meet in 1988. Many thought they were married since they were always together. Robert cared for Joan until his death 2020. Joan didn't have much family left, but she had a few very close friends besides Robert. They were Bobbie Beddow -a caregiver, Frank Westphal - a friend who was always there for her and Susan and Frank Dieteloff a niece and nephew-in-law. She loved to draw and paint (fairies where her favoite), swim, she was very musical which included playing the piano and accordion and to sing. In her youth she love to ski. She will be missed by her friends and family.
