God called Vito to him on July 13, 2021 at the age of 86. He will be forever missed by his loving wife of 60 years, Incoronata (Barone). Adored by his dear sons, Nick (Laura) and Peter (Pauline). Proud Nonno to Nicholas, Mathew, Adam, Luke and Zackary. He will be reunited in heaven with his parents and predeceased siblings. Vito was the man you wanted to spend time with as he always made you feel special. A simple man with a huge heart. He especially enjoyed his backyard, greenhouse/hotel, a good glass of his own wine and a classic Napoletana song. He taught us all that time spent with your family and friends is what is most important. Forever in our hearts and memories. Visitations will take place at the DeMarco Funeral Home (Woodbridge Chapel) (8003 Weston Rd. 905-850-9500) on Friday July 16, 2021 from 2-4pm and 6-9pm. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday July 17, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Jane Frances Catholic Church (2745 Jane St., North York, Ontario). Entombment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery (7241 Jane St., Concord, Ontario). As the restrictions and guidelines continue to lift, all family and friends are welcome to come to the Funeral Home during the visitation periods. There will be no RSVP needed to enter the Funeral Home. When coming into the Funeral Home, please sign the “Guest Book” and write your phone number down beside your name for contact tracing purposes, before entering our visitation suites. Our staff will be constantly sanitizing and monitoring the Funeral Home if any assistance is needed. We kindly remind all guests who are coming to pay their respects, to always remember to practice physical distancing and to avoid all physical contact. Please note that it is mandatory by the Government of Ontario that all family and friends attending any type of funeral service, must be wearing a facial covering. We are asking for only the most immediate family members to join us at the Funeral Home on the morning of the funeral, as we ask everyone else to please meet us at the church.
