Joan Livingston Schwer
Joan Livingston Schwer, 94, of Harrisburg, passed away on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at Penn State Holy Spirit Hospital surrounded by loved ones. Born May 5, 1927, in New York City, she was the youngest child of the late Donald Hopecraft and Lysbeth (Miller) Hopecraft. She was the widow of Joseph E. Schwer, Jr. She is survived by her children, Christopher Juncker (Julanne), Donna Morrison (David), Lee Ann Schwer, daughter-in-law, Penny Archibald, brother-in-law, Donald Schwer (Carol), sister-in-law, Evelyn Giannotto (Nick), 10 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sons, Jody, Peter, and her siblings, Betty Ann, Donald. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at 2:30 P.M. on July 24, 2021 at Road 2 Emmaus Church, 5050 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg, PA.
