Marnee returned to the open arms of lost loved ones on July 7, 2021. She filled our lives with love and laughter and will be missed by all who were lucky enough to know her. 

Marnee was born on July 17, 1959, in Fillmore, Utah to Linda Scott and Howard Vawdrey. She had the nature of a caretaker and loved to help others from a young age. Marnee’s childhood was filled with adventure with her brothers Curt, Darin, and Bart. She married the love of her life, Kent Christensen on July 18, 1988, and spent the rest of her life happily in his loving arms. 

Marnee’s passion was her family. Her husband, children, grandchildren, parents, and siblings were her joy. She loved to cook and was the ultimate hostess. Her endless energy to feed and entertain shined when she was surrounded by those she loved. Marnee loved to visit yard sales and search for treasures. She was always on the hunt for something unique and special that she could squirrel away or give to someone who didn’t know they needed it. Marnee loved to garden and always grew plenty to share. She was an avid reader and a huge NASCAR fan. 

Marnee was strong and gentile, her kindness and love were given freely and with all her heart. 

Marnee is survived by her loving husband Kent, her children Deejay (Rachel), Lydia (Robert) and Shane, her father Howard (Tammy), and her brothers Darin (Jodi) and Bart (Tamra), along with six grandchildren, countless loving relatives and friends, and her two beloved pups Clinton and Coco. Preceded in death by her mother Linda, stepfather Scotty and brother Curt.
