Gordon E Donaldson October 11, 1924 - July 7, 2021 (96) Husband to Chris and father to 4, Beccy Jones (Dave), Dee Holcomb (Ken), Mark Donaldson (Mary Ellen), and Nathan Donaldson (Janice). Also grandfather (12), great grandfather (18) , great-great grandfather (6). Preceded into heaven by his wife Chris Donaldson in 2007 after 57 years of marriage. Gordon was born of missionary parents in Maingo, Nigeria, which influenced his life and ministry service to the Lord God. He spent his formative years in Tucson, AZ before participating in WWII as a fighter pilot with the Royal Air Force from 1943-1948 (European Theater). Upon his return stateside, he graduated from Multnomah School of the Bible where he met his wife, Chris. They began ministry with the Navigators (WA and TX); London College of Bible and Missions (Canada); Missionary Internship (MI); Longhill Chapel (NJ); Bethany Bible Church (AZ); Neues Leben Counseling (AZ); and as Chaplain for the Phoenix PD. He and Chris often opened their home to many and encouraged and supported foreign missionaries around the world. Gordon was an active member at Camelback Bible Church, (AZ) since 1981, and served as an Elder and as Chairman. He loved the Scriptures, teaching and memorizing many passages. He also taught with Community Bible Study. His passion as an artist encompassed his entire life, an expression of the world and people he loved. Gordon entered his heavenly home, abiding with his Master and King, Jesus Christ on the evening of July 7,2021 with family by his side.
