Angela Christina Hooper, 53, entered eternal life on Monday, July 12, 2021, after an extended illness. She lived her life with amazing fortitude. Angela gave of herself overcoming physical restrictions, difficult situations and challenging circumstances. She showed humility always centering attention on others. Angela believed that suffering and pain have a place in God’s love for us. She felt that in suffering, there is a union with the suffering and death of Jesus Christ. Her physical situation enabled her to accept weakness and limitations and in doing so, to trust and have faith in God's love and mercy. Therefore, she went with open arms and faith in eternal life with God. Angela was a member of Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Winchester, KY.   Angela was predeceased by her father, Max Szobonya, and her beloved stepfather, Kenneth Phillips. She is survived by her mother, Charlotte Phillips-Nahlen and her brothers, Timothy Hooper of Winchester,KY, and Daniel Hooper of Lexington, KY.  Angela was a supporter of KODA, Kentucky Organ Donor Affiliates, where she wished to donate herself to help others.  She also wanted to express her sincere gratitude for those at Shriners Hospital for their continued love, help, and years of therapy.    Private burial will be at Clarmont Memorial Gardens with Father Frank Brawner officiating.
