Eunice Pearl Bue

<p>Amazing Wife, Mom, Grandma, Sister, Aunt, Seamstress, Homemaker, Cook, Baker, Gardener, Teacher and Friend.</p> <p>Eunice was born January 20, 1928 at Isle, Minnesota (Opstead Township), the third child to Edward Eugene &amp; Inez (Winsor) Freer.</p> <p>She grew up on a dairy farm near Isle, attended Central (country) School and graduated from Isle High School class of 1945.&nbsp; She lived with aunts &amp; an uncle while working in an office in Chicago, IL, and later moved back to Minnesota and worked in the offices of Gamble Skogmo and Hickman Williams in Minneapolis.&nbsp; Eunice met Tilfred Bue in Minneapolis and they married at Opstead Baptist Church, Isle, MN on August 26, 1950.</p> <p>Tilfred &amp; Eunice soon moved to Clarkfield where Tilfred worked at the Farmer&rsquo;s Elevator.&nbsp; Upon the death of his uncle, Andrew Droen, they moved to the Droen family farm which they farmed and later purchased.</p> <p>All eight of their children graduated from Clarkfield High School.&nbsp; Eunice remained on the farm following Tilfred&rsquo;s death in January 1993.&nbsp; In 2002, eldest daughter Wendy and Paul Kimmer purchased a portion of the farm land and moved to the homestead with Eunice.&nbsp;</p> <p>Eunice was active at Clarkfield Lutheran Church, was a charter member of the Flying Geese Quilters and was active in the Legion Auxiliary, Homemakers Group and Sewing Club.&nbsp; She also worked in the offices of the Clarkfield Clinic and the Clarkfield Care Center before retiring.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>She is survived by her 8 children: Wendy (Paul) Kimmer, Beverly (Charles) Derscheid, Phyllis (Greg) Moss, Kathryn Edwardson, Kristy Tanhoff, Wade (Denise) Bue, Joel (Julie) Bue and Jody (Andrew) Wilkins; 14 Grandchildren and 9 Great-Grandchildren; sister, Deanna Peterson and brother Dean Freer; 1 brother-in-law; 3 sisters-in-law, and numerous nieces and nephews.&nbsp;</p> <p>She was preceded in death by her husband, Tilfred; parents, Gene &amp; Inez Freer; sister, Carol Bailey; brothers, Merlyn, Lyle, Duane &amp; Darrel Freer; sons-in-law, Ralph Edwardson &amp; Larry Tanhoff.&nbsp;</p> <p>Eunice passed away on July 12th, 2021 at the Clarkfield Care Center at the age of 93 years.</p> <p>She will be dearly missed;&nbsp;blessed be her memory.</p> <p>In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Rice Hospice or Clarkfield Lutheran Church.</p> <p>Visitation will be held on Friday, August 27th from 5-7 PM at the J.H. Lynner Funeral Home in Clarkfield and will continue from 10-11 AM on Saturday, August 28th at the Clarkfield Lutheran Church, followed by the memorial service at 11 AM. Interment to follow in the Clarkfield Lutheran Cemetery.</p>
