<p style="text-align: justify;">Age 83, of Norvell Township, went to be with her Lord Sunday, July 11, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family and under the care of Heartland Hospice of Ann Arbor. &nbsp;She is survived by her husband; Robert F. Raby, two daughters; Wendy (Gary) Lovens, Julie Kahl and her daughter-in-law; Sharon Kahl, stepchildren; Marcia (Clifford) Reithmiller, Phillip (Sonda) Raby, Mark Raby, Doug (Sandy) Raby, Eric (Mel) Raby and Elaine (David) Worsham, 45 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.&nbsp; She was preceded in death by her son; Jeffrey Kahl, siblings; Don Smith, Ron Smith and Winona Pierce and her parents; Clarence and Edna (Saeger) Smith.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">ONLY ONE LIFE &lsquo;TWILL SOON BE PAST,</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">ONLY WHAT&rsquo;S DONE FOR CHRIST WILL LAST.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;Ruth Ann loved her Lord and was thankful for her talent which allowed her to be organist/pianist at the Fellowship Baptist Church in Columbia Township and at her winter home, The Grace Tabernacle Independent Baptist Church in Brooksville.&nbsp; She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother that found beauty in everything.&nbsp; She was very creative and quite artistic in her various projects and enjoyed working in the garden.&nbsp; She was a longtime secretary at the Packaging Corporation of America in Plymouth.&nbsp; Services will be held at the Fellowship Baptist Church on Friday, July 16, 2021 at 11 am with Pastor Dan White officiating.&nbsp; Interment Norvell Cemetery.&nbsp; The family will receive friends at the church Thursday evening 6-8 pm and Friday morning at the church one hour prior to services.&nbsp; Contributions in her memory are directed to her granddaughter, serving as a Missionary in Mexico, c/o New Heights Baptist Church (John and Neola Wynne Mission) at 1816 Klug Drive, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46818 or the Fellowship Baptist Church Mission Fund c/o 3200 Reed Road, Clark Lake, MI 49234.&nbsp; The family wishes to thank Heartland Hospice of Ann Arbor for their compassionate and professional care.&nbsp; Arrangements by Arthur-Day Funeral Home, Michigan Center.</p>
