Michael S Baker

It is with profound sadness we announce that on June 30th, 2021 Michael S. Baker, age 44 of Phoenix, Arizona passed away. Mike was born in Columbus, Ohio and raised in Indiana, his home. Mike was a proud graduate of Indiana University where he earned his Juris Doctorate. After college he moved to Italy to teach English where he fell in love with the county and has returned countless times. Mike decided it was time to start his career and chose Arizona where his sister lived. He opened his Law Firm in 2005. Mike was a well respected passionate Attorney who made a difference in many people’s lives. From the time Mike was young he was goal driven and had a work ethic like no other. He was a deep thinker who always stood up for others at an early age, his sisters and brothers admired him for this. Mike had a generous kind spirit who loved people for who they were, he would never ask for anything in return, never. Mike grew up to appreciate the little things, there should never be judgment of others, this was taught by his beautiful loving selfless mother. Mike was funny, he always had jokes he never wanted us to take life to serious. He was passionate about being involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters and has a little brother Daniel of 8 years. Mike thought of him as a son and was very active in his life. Mike loved traveling, basketball, books, writing, music and was a slayer of history. Mike’s greatest accomplishment was his two children Allison and Atticus. He was an exceptional father with an unquestionable love for the both of them. This was shown by his words and actions every day. Mike will be lovingly always remembered by his two beautiful children Allison and Atticus, loving devoted sisters Eve and Jennifer as well as his brother Greg. Three nieces, Sintia, Gabriella and Victoria. Brother in law Chris, Uncle Larry and Aunt Laura, partner Melissa, cousins and countless friends. Mike is preceded in death by his Mother Brenda, Grandmother and Grandfather.
