Memorial services for Mrs. Robbie “Big Sister” Duffey of West Monroe will be held at 3:00PM, Thursday, July 15, 2021 at Bethel Baptist Church on Washington St in West Monroe. Arrangements are under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home West Monroe. Mrs. Duffey was born August 4, 1943 in Rayville, LA and passed from this life on July 8, 2021 in West Monroe, LA at the age of 77. She was a welder for over 25 years and enjoyed fishing, gardening, hunting and spending time outdoors. She was always known for saying “Love you, Baby” to her loved ones at the end of any conversation. She talked to her family often about not being afraid of dying and that it was just a part of “The Circle of Life”. Robbie was a loving mother, sweet friend to many and will be greatly missed. She is preceded in death by her significant other, Aubrey McEacharn; her parents, Leroy and Jessie Counts; her brothers, Michael Counts and Leroy Counts, Jr.; and her sister, Edith Dean Counts. Survivors include her daughters, Pamela Duffey and wife, Astrid of West Monroe; Michelle Duffey Lee of Delhi; three sisters, Sue Aaron, Margaret Washington, and Senora Woods; one brother, George Paul Counts; Aunt, Mildred Mitchell of Bastrop; one granddaughter, Heidi Lee Reeves and great-grandchildren. Also survived by a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.August 4, 1943 - July 8, 202108/04/194307/08/2021
