Leoma Maher Reed passed away July 8, 2021 at the age of 83. 

Leoma was born in Natchez, Mississippi to her parents, Nannie and Emmett Maher on August 8, 1937. She lived in Pattison, Mississippi for many years, then moved to Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She moved back to Pattison with her husband and family to their family farm near Pattison in 1971. There, they owned and operated Reed's Grocery for 30 years. She was a member of the Pattison Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Clovis B. Reed, Sr.; parents, Nannie and Emmett Maher; and brother, James Ray Hynum. 

Leoma is survived by her loving and devoted companion, Nelson "Al" Lusby; her son, Clovis Reed, Jr. (Shelia); her daughter, Rhonda Webb (Doug); her brothers, George and Raymond Hynum; her sisters, Thelma Foster and Janis Goff; 8 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. 

A visitation for Leoma will be held on Sunday, July 11, 2021 from 2-4 pm at Glenwood Funeral Home of Port Gibson. A funeral service will be held the following day, July 12, 2021, at 11 am at Sarepta Methodist Church in Pattison, Mississippi. Reverend James "Sonny" Twiner will be officiating. 

Pallbearers are Bo Lusby, Dwayne Nesmith, Mickey Goff, Ben Goff, Eddie Maher, and Nathan Hynum. 
Honorary pallbearers are Justin Hynum, Brian Hynum, Eric Hynum, and Michael Deangelis.
