Nina Kay Byrd Church, age 68, of North Wilkesboro, passed away Thursday, July 8, 2021 at her home. Mrs. Church was born April 23, 1953 in Wilkes County to Joe Robert and Lorene Byrd. Mrs. Church was a member of Congo Holiness Church and retired from Tyson Foods after 35 years of employment. She loved spending time with family and friends and driving random road trips. Nina was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Danny Church; sister, Fay Broyhill; and brother, Joey Byrd, Jr. Nina is survived by her sons, Monroe Church and spouse Patricia, Arlie Church and spouse Lisa, grandchildren, Ashley, Dustin, Crystal, Sarah and Samantha; sister, Carol Byrd; nephews, C.R. Broyhill and spouse Teresa, their children, Kat and Rosie, J.R. Broyhill and spouse Jennifer, their children, Summer and Amber. The family will receive friends at Miller Funeral Service from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 11, 2021. Flowers will be accepted. Miller Funeral Service is in charge of the arrangements.
