In Loving Memory of Gregory Harold Legus A.K.A. Greg, Greggo, Dad, Pops, Uncle Greg and Tiger September 11, 1957 – July 3, 2021 Greg Legus suffered a sudden heart attack while surrounded by friends at a local restaurant the evening of June 30, 2021. His surviving son was at his side when he left this world the morning of July 3, 2021. Greg was born in Inglewood, California September 11, 1957, to Albert Gregory Legus and Anita Elizabeth Ladd. He graduated from Fountain Valley High School, completing his post education at Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho. He continued his education through life studying and completing many contractual licensing and state boards for his lifelong trade in craftsmanship and building. His career began with McDonalds to pay his way through school and his enthusiasm for building began with Orange Coast Sauna in Newport Beach. Building and installing custom saunas led him to meet many great craftsmen who excelled at cultivating his love of all creative building projects including being part of teams with great honors in well-known published works. His unique abilities were nurtured with inward reflection and encouragement from compassionate friends until his very last moment. While he loved many places, he found love for the climate in Colorado. Nicknamed tiger at a young age, he will be fiercely remembered by those he touched through his life. Greg is survived by his son: PJ and Antonette Legus, best grandson ever: Logan Michael Legus, mother: Beth Balch, sister: Peggy Schlottman and her children that he loved ferociously. Greg was preceded in death by so many including his father Albert Legus, son Michael Legus, and beloved dog Shasta. We mourn with those closest to him as they will continue to celebrate and rejoice in his life.
