<p>William Carl Probyn</p><p>December 13, 1947 – June 30, 2021</p><p><br></p><p>William Carl Probyn, 73, of Anderson, SC passed away at his home on June 30, 2021.</p><p><br></p><p>Carl was the son of the late Thomas Carl Probyn and the late Wilma Marie Woods.</p><p><br></p><p>In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Margo Elaine Valance.</p><p><br></p><p>He is survived by his only daughter, Shayna Marie Visnansky.</p><p><br></p><p>At the age of 8 he moved from Canada with his family to Orange County, California. He enlisted into the United States Air Force at age 18 and proudly served his country during the Vietnam War. After his service, he continued to live in California and worked as a Wallpapering Contractor. In 2016, after the passing of his mother, he moved to Anderson, SC to be closer to his daughter, Shayna. </p><p><br></p><p>He enjoyed going camping and fishing. His daughter got him his dream dog, a blue merle Australian Shepherd in May of 2020 who he named Dakota. He loved playing ball with her and giving her bath spa days. </p><p><br></p><p>He would do anything for his daughter and helped her achieve her goals to be happy. </p><p><br></p><p>The Standard Cremation &amp; Funeral Center is serving the Probyn family and a message of condolence may be sent to the family by visiting www.standardfuneralcenter.com.</p>

William Carl Probyn, 73, of Anderson, SC passed away at his home on June 30, 2021.


Carl was the son of the late Thomas Carl Probyn and the late Wilma Marie Woods.


In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Margo Elaine Valance.


He is survived by his only daughter, Shayna Marie Visnansky.
