Mr. Bert Green Blevins, age 83, of North Wilkesboro, passed away Thursday December 10, 2015 at Wilkes Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, December 13, 2015 at Cricket Baptist Church with Rev. Kelly Darnell, Rev. Joe Farmer and Rev. Richard Blevins officiating. Burial will be in Mountlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive Saturday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home. Mr. Blevins was born May 1, 1932 in Wilkes County to Linnie and Dellie Blevins. He was retired from American Drew Furniture Company and a member of Cricket Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents. Mr. Blevins is survived by his wife; Mary Ellen Tedder Blevins of the home, two daughters; Martha B. McNeill and husband, Joe, Debbie B. Ashley and husband, Jonathan all of North Wilkesboro, two sons; Bill G. Blevins and wife, Gail of Hays, Donnie W. Blevins and wife Audrey of Purlear, three sisters; Ann Burchette and husband, Barney and Jean Royall all of Hays, Irene Blevins of North Wilkesboro, two brothers; Jarvis Blevins and wife, Lucille, Junior Blevins and wife, Jane, all of North Wilkesboro, six grandchildren, five great grandchildren, four step great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren, twelve step great-great grandchildren.
