Mr. Dewey Tillery a resident of Brundidge,, AL passed away Thursday, July 8, 2021 at his residence. He was 72. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, July 10, 2021 at Henderson Memorial Cemetery with Dr. Mallone Chandler officiating. Burial will follow with Military Rites, Skeen Funeral Home of Troy directing. Visitation for Dewey Tillery will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 10, 2021, at Skeen Funeral Home in Troy. Mr. Tillery was born October 14, 1948 to the late Thomas Tilburn Tillery and Winnie B. Mulkey Tillery. Mr. Tillery served two terms in Viet Nam while proudly serving our country in The U.S. Army. He was also a master mason. He loved his friends and he loved his only daughter Teresa. He is survived by his daughter, Teresa Cobb (Wayne), Troy, AL; brother, Lacy Herman Tillery, Troy; sisters, Shirley Kelley (Wayne), Bluff Springs, AL. and Linda King, Andalusia, AL; grandson, Mathew Baker (Tiffany), Troy; granddaughter, Rachael Heil (Wes), Troy; great grandson, Keaton Baker, Troy; great granddaughter, Kenna Baker, Jack, AL; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
