William Joseph Millett Jr. was born 3 /4/1933 in Newark NJ. To William Joseph Millett and , Agnes Watson Millett. He was baptized in April 1934 in Kearny NJ. was predeceased by his wife Hanne (Neilson) Millett, his sister, Ruth Hauck and his niece Marylin Hauck. He is survived by his children, Ron and wife Sheila Makinson, Chris and wife Donna Makinson and Sandy Murphy . His Grandchildren, Shannon and husband Kevin Csandi and Christopher Makinson, his nephew Walter and Wife Anne Hauck. Bill went to Rutgers for a year of Mechanical Engineering and had four years of service in the Army. He received an Honorable discharge. He also went to College in Pa. Bill was a lover of books and History. Bill was a man of many hats, he was a service manager for Volkswagen, he owned his own Motel and Sunrise Cycle of Honesdale Pa. He also raced Porsches, and worked for several years at Continental Airlines. He did everything from Baggage Handler to inside ticket counter sales. He had a wonderful personality and was a lover of life. He was an all around good person. He met his wife Hanne in 1990. Hanne and Bill got married May 16, 1992 and loved to travel. They went to Denmark numerous times and spent time in Sweden, Scotland and would travel to the Mall of America for the weekend. They would go to IKEA just to enjoy the Swedish meatballs. And he had an immense love for prime rib. He will be missed by all.March 4, 1933 - July 8, 202103/04/193307/08/2021
