Heloise LeBlanc Obituary

It is with a profound sense of loss that the family of Marie Jeanne Heloise LeBlanc announces her death on July 8, 2021.  Despite being disabled by severe rheumatoid arthritis, Heloise was a constant loving presence in her family and did all she could to support and encourage her loved ones.  She is survived by three sons, each of whom shared a special relationship with their mother: Harvey, Claude (Rose), and Doug (Melinda Cook). She also leaves five grandchildren of whom she was very proud: Josh (Kat) and Cheyenne; Amanda (Matt Batten) and Tabitha (Rilley Holden), and Jeffrey; and three great grandchildren: Ryder, Ivy, and Jake.  She was predeceased by twin infant daughters.

Born on July 31, 1938 to Theodore and Eva Arseneault, she was one of thirteen children, and thus was blessed to be surrounded by a large extended family.  She was predeceased by her brothers: Emile, Leonide, Tim; and sisters Aggie, Julianna, and Yvette. She is survived by her sisters Oliva and Winnie, and brothers Emerie, Albert, Camillien and Gilles, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road. In keeping with Heloise’s wishes, no visitation will be held. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at 12pm from Our Lady of the Assumption Church (360 Dufferin Row, Saint John) with interment to follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.

For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Arthritis Society, New Brunswick Division or a charity of the donor’s choice.
