Bishop Maybelline Sturdivant

Bishop Maybelline Miller Sturdivant age 65 of Clarksville passed away Thursday, July 8, 2021 at her residence. Committal Service will be held 2 p.m. Monday, July 12, 2021 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West with Pastor Corey Sturdivant officiating. Maybelline entered this life on November 5, 1955 in South Bend, Indiana to the late Sampson and Inez Shaw Miller. She was a founder and member of Goodness & Mercy Outreach Church, which later became Champion Community Christian Church. Maybelline enjoyed reading, swimming, and sports. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two sisters and one brother. Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Pleas Sturdivant; children, Pleas Earl Sturdivant, Sherice Patton, Tishika (Shaba) Griffin, Corey D. (Jennifer) Sturdivant, and Ramona J. (Larry) James; eleven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, five sisters, and four brothers. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
