Darling Brown was born on March 7, 1928 in McRae, GA.  Darling was the  youngest child to Lovett and Annie Lee Jones followed by her elder sister Ola Bell. Best known as, "Dollie" to friends and loved ones, she made everyone feel special and loved.

Dollie was known for her renowned cooking and homemade stuffing for Thanksgiving. Everyone always knew they would have plenty of stuffing during the holidays and raved about her favorite dish.

During her twenties, Dollie moved to the "big city" of New York in search of a long lasting career.  In this process, Dollie worked for AT&T as a Long Distance Operator for over 20 years and retired.  Dollie loved working for the company and made everlasting friendships.
