Mrs. Marlene Olivia Stikes Greene, age 64 of Wilkesboro, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday at Lewis Fork Baptist Church with Rev. Dwayne Andrews and Rev. Sherrill Wellborn officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 Thursday evening at Reins Sturdivant Funeral Home. Mrs. Greene was born January 28, 1952 in Caldwell County to Earl Corbet and Vivian Caritha Elledge Stikes. She was a member of Lewis Fork Baptist Church, where she enjoyed singing in the church choir. Mrs. Greene was employed by Tyson Foods in the Quality Assurance Department. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She is preceded in death by her parents. Mrs. Greene is survived by her loving husband of 45 years; Rommie Edmund Greene, three daughters; Jennifer Rebecca Greene of Wilkesboro, Jessica Vivian Greene Adams and husband Scottie of Hays and Amanda Jolene Greene of North Wilkesboro, ten grandchildren; Cody William Carlton, Dillon John Carlton, Bobby Gene Adams, Andrew Mark Adams, Olivia Jolene Severt, Bradley Odell Severt, Lakyn Rebecca Carlton, Samantha Megan Severt, Falon Hope Carlton, Johnathan Edmund Carlton, four step-grandchildren; Ashley Renee Hullette, Alicia Nichole Miller, Heather Dean Hullette, Brooke Caroline Ludwick, two great grandchildren; Vivian Marie Adams, Jax William Carlton, two step great grandchildren; Aiden Dean Miller, Layken Camden Ludwick, five sisters; Marie Nichols and husband Nick of Lincolnton, her twin sister; Madeline Broyhill and husband Dennis of Wilkesboro, Anita Hicks and husband Reggie of Ferguson, Avis Barlow and husband Randy of Purlear, Lisa Francis and husband David of Millers Creek, four brothers; Stanley Stikes and wife Brenda of Millers Creek, Shelton Stikes and wife Margie of Purlear, James Stikes and wife Debbie of Wilkesboro and Mark Stikes and wife Patty of Purlear.
