Erin Langford Newport (Wilmington), Delaware Obituary

Erin Langford

Langford, Erin 1971 - 2021. Her life was well lived and she was well loved. The Lord called her home in a peaceful manner at Christiana Care, with her loving family by her side, on July 2, 2021 in her 50th year. This gentle, loving, caring and wonderful woman has left a permanent mark etched on our hearts and will be supremely missed. Family was the pivotal essence of Erin's life and she referred to them as her "teams". Her A Team was anchored by her Mother, Jeraldine Langford (father Creighton - predeceased), her Aunt Jean White and her Brother Adam Langford, Aunt June Boisclair (Joe), and Uncle Steve Braymer (Eileen), Cousins Jennifer Billand (Kyle), Karen Cook, Mark White (Tammy), Joe Boisclair (Cindy), Sonya Cosgrove (Bill), Kim Carroll (Brian) and Kam Braymer. Erin was an Aunt to Adam's children, Joshua & Alexis Langford. Erin's B Team was the amazing group of Ladies at Legions Transformational Center Newark. A more amazing and supportive network of friends could not be asked for. Erin's C Team was her church family at Real Life Community Church. Erin loved this special family and it was obvious that she was loved in return. Erin graduated from Salem Washington Academy in 1989 and was a United States Air Force veteran of 8 years. The family would like to thank all of the Healthcare professionals from Helen Graham Cancer Center. & Christiana Care's Hospice Staff for their comfort, support and care in her last days. Erin will be remembered for her selfless giving to anyone in need. Although our hearts are heavy, we will celebrate her life and find comfort that she is in heaven watching over us. When you think of Erin, celebrate the good memories you have of her. Remember that life is fragile and short and should be lived to the fullest. There will be a memorial service held at 11 am on Saturday, August 7 at the VFW Post 3792 5695 Summit Bridge Rd Townsend, DE 19734 which will be followed by a repast. The family asks to honor Erin by wearing bright colors. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made in Erin's name to https://seasonsfoundation.org/donate/
