Helen G Suda

Helen Suda passed away on June 30th, 2021. She lived a long 96-year life filled with all the things she loved; laughs with family, trips to her favorite city in the world (NYC), and enjoying food (especially her homemade peorgis). She was born in Dixon City PA on July 31, 1924 and moved to New York City with her family. She fell in love with the hustle of the city, and how at every corner you could experience something new. During her single years she enjoyed the big city working as a secretary and rocking the latest fashion. On June 11th 1949, she left her single days behind and married Edward Suda, a WWII veteran. She really loved family life. She had two children Monica Kirk (Belle Mead, NJ) and Robert Suda (Alpharetta, GA). She enjoyed making collections with her son, and traveling across the US to see historical sites. She also had three grandchildren: Amelia, Katarina, and Christian. She loved watching the silly things they came up with as kids – like plays, dress up, or giving her a makeover. Outside of her family she was active in St. Bernards Church and involved with the senior citizen group of Raritan. Her family will miss her laughs, and her reminders to never take the people you surround yourself with for granted. Rest in peace our beloved mother and grandmother. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am on Tuesday, July 6th, 2021, at the St. Bernard of Clairvaux RC Church, 500 US-22, Bridgewater Township, NJ 08807. Entombment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery, Bridgewater, NJ. Visiting for relatives and friends will be held on Monday, July 5th, 2021, from 4 - 6 pm in the Hillsborough Funeral Home, 796 US Hwy 206, Hillsborough, NJ 08844.
