A virtuous wife is of greater value than jewels. She is trustworthy and industrious, working with her hands and preparing food. She provides well for her household. She is generous and her husband is honored because of her. She is not idle nor a talebearer. Her children recognize her attributes, they and her husband praise her. Donna Lee Rohkohl, age 76 of Howell, passed away peacefully, going home to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday morning, August 26, 2017. Born on February 28, 1941 in Winsted, Connecticut, she was the daughter of Donald and Betsey (Brown) Dickerman. Formerly of Winsted, Connecticut and a Howell area resident since 1978, Donna was an accomplished artist in oils and internationally awarded in embroidery. She authored and published four books on basket weaving and was a gourmet cook. She also enjoyed gardening and bird watching. Beloved wife of Greg Rohkohl whom she married in Charleston, South Carolina on September 23, 1964. Loving mother of Greg, Jr. (Lynn) Rohkohl of Bozeman, Montana, Lynn (Scott) Lloyd of Howell, Chris (Adrienne) Rohkohl of Fenton, Mike Rohkohl of Howell and Lisa (Shane) Tincu of Howell. Proud and adoring grandmother of 10 grandchildren, Michael, Kaylyn, Ashley, Brittani, Amanda, Ryan, Hayden, Madyson, Micah and Eli; two great-grandchildren. Sister of Helen Sartirana of Winsted, Connecticut, Sue Donofrio of Laguna Niguel, California, Sandy Nichols of Winsted, Connecticut, the late Tom Dickerman and the late Don Dickerman, Jr. Donna attended the Hiawatha Bible Church, 6415 Buckshore Drive, Hamburg, where a funeral service in honor and celebration of her life will be held Thursday, August 31, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation beginning 10:00 a.m. Pastor Jerry L. Wichert, officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeside Cemetery in Marion Township.
