<p>Joseph (Joe) Edward Baker, 74, of Chesterfield, formerly of Richmond, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, June 29, 2021. Joe was born December 7, 1946 to the late Joseph and Ethel Baker. Loving husband of Judith Baker for 54 years; cherished father of Jill Baker and Joseph (Elizabeth) Baker II, grandfather of Bella and Landon Baker. Also, survived by his brother, Bill Baker, sister-in-law’s, Carol Schuster, Marilyn Hurst, Shirley (Del) Gentile, Nancy Restum and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his siblings, Chuck Baker and Dolores Mevis and brother-in-law, Jim Goin. Joe was an adventurer that loved motorcycles, boating and flying his Ultralight. Prior to his retirement Joe was the owner and founder of Jeb Roofing Co.</p> <p>Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. with a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Service Friday, July 2, 2021 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 67055 Gratiot Ave, Richmond, MI 48062.</p> <p>In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial donations to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church Richmond.</p>December 7, 1946 - June 29, 202112/07/194606/29/2021

Southern Aire park this winter and more to come will surely miss Joe. If there was anyone who could claim being the "goodwill ambassador" of the park, it was Joe. He will be greatly missed.
