Betty Lula Atkinson, 92, died Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at Angel Oak Nursing and Rehab.

She was born May 6, 1929 in Mt. Croghan, SC. She was a daughter of the late Ross Guin and Mildred Baker Atkinson. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Ross Guin Atkinson, Jr. and Wilson Kay Atkinson.

Miss Atkinson moved to Cheraw, SC when she was 12 years old and lived there until she moved to Angel Oak Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was a retired Secretary/Bookkeeper. She attended Faith Presbyterian Church in Cheraw.

She is survived by: one sister, Janie Atkinson Shaw of Myrtle Beach, SC; and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens in Cheraw, SC.
