Ronald Anthony Salkiewicz
Ronald Anthony Salkiewicz, 70, of Painesville, died at home Tuesday, June 29, 2021, after a long illness. Born in Lorain, Ohio, on June 1, 1951, Ronald was the son of the late Daniel B. and Patricia Salkiewicz. After graduating from Saint Mary's High School, Lorain, he served in the United States Navy. Honorably discharged from service, Ronald returned to Lorain where he worked for the First Energy Corporation. After his retirement, he joined CPM Consultants, working as a project manager for several years. He was a lifetime member of the Friends of Morley Library Association, serving as president for two years Ronald is survived by his wife Lisa, as well as his son John (Traci) of Fairport Harbor, daughter Jennifer (Robert) Lee of North Carolina, and son Andrew (Jessica) of Middlefield; and six grandchildren Matthew, Amanda, Logan, Ambree, Sebastian and Benjamin. Visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, July 2 from 5 - 7 pm at Johnson Funeral Home, 368 Mentor Avenue, in Painesville. A funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. Interment will be at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville, Pennsylvania.
