Elvis Wayne Havard, 60, of Wade, MS, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 in Pascagoula, MS. He was born on September 12, 1960 in Hollywood, FL, to Elvis and Betty Havard. Wayne was a Automobile Mechanic for many years. He was also a member of First Pentecostal Church of Hurley. Wayne is preceded in death by his mother, Betty Havard; sister, Karri Welch. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Ramona Havard; son, Ernie (Candace) Havard; daughter, Megan Bosarge; granddauthter, Bentleigh Havard, all from Wade, MS. Father, Elvis Havard of Wade, MS; sister, Janice Mason of Moss Point, MS; brothers, Tommy (Karen) Havard, and Larry (Audrey) Havard of Lucedale, MS. Along with other family and friends. A visitation will be held on Friday, July 2, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at First Pentecostal Church of Hurley. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, July 3, 2021 beginning at 12:00 p.m., with Bro. Randy Jourdan, Bro. Jerry Hamilton, and Bro. Tony Craven officiating, and speaker Rucks Robinson. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Johnson Cemetery in Wade, MS, with Adam Waltman, Brad Cook, David Pinter, Don Moffett, Steven Richardson, J.W. Scott, Larry Bosarge, and Walter Foreman serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Dale Hester, Brett Nelson, Jessie Smith, and Dr. Jeffery Laseter. Heritage Funeral Home, locally owned and operated in Escatawpa/Moss Point, MS, is in charge of arrangements.
