Iwilson Jones

March 16, 1938 ~ June 29, 2021 (age 83)

Ms. Iwilson Jones of Whiteville passed away on Tuesday June 29, 2021.  She was born in Whiteville on March 16, 1938 to the late Colon and Annie Jones.  

Her funeral service was held on Saturday July 10, 2021 at 11:00 at the Jerome Boyd Chapel at Dixie Funeral Home with Minister Lennaire Vaughn in charge.  Burial was in the Simon Chapel Church Cemetery-Whiteville and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.

She attended Allen-White School and in her early years she relocated to Chicago where she was a business owner.   In 1988 returned to Whiteville.  She joined Simon Chapel Church were she remained a member.  She was a very humble and loving person that loved people and she loved to fish. 

Preceding her in death were her parents; three sister, Dorothy, Jessie and Christine; eight brothers Alvis, Tom, Ed, Claude, Jimmy, Otis, Kara and Oie. 

She leaves to cherish her memory one son, Lennor (LaRonda) Jones; one daughter, Trese McKinney; one sister, Bessie Jarmon; twelve grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren and eight great, great grandchildren; many other friends and relatives that will truly miss her.
