Ronnie Darrell Tatum

Ronnie Darrell Tatum, age 51 of Demorest, passed away on Tuesday, June 29, 2021. Born on October 16, 1969, he was a son of the late Arvil Tatum, Jr. and Annie Lou Kinsey Tatum. Mr. Tatum was a former truck driver and field tech with Mar-Jac Poultry. He loved playing softball back in the day and listening to the Classic Country Gold Saturday Night and in his spare time he enjoyed fishing and hunting. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Tatum; brother, Kenneth Harland Tatum. Surviving are his son, McKenzie Tatum of Demorest; daughter and son-in-law, Amber & Devan Wakester of Toccoa; grandchild, Rex Wakester; several other family and friends. Memorial services are scheduled for 4 pm, Friday, July 2, 2021 in the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin and Stewart with Rev. Tim Beasley officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 pm until the service hour on Friday at the funeral home. An online guest register is available and may be viewed at www.mcgaheegriffinandstewart.com. So sorry for your loss. We remember Ronnie from his Softball playing days in the church league and with the Mustangs. He was a special person who will be missed by many. Prayers for the family and friends.
