Donald F. Kohorn

Born March 31, 1930 to parents, Melvin and Alice Kohorn. Called to Eternal Life June 29, 2021. Former proprietor of Kohorn Sausage Distributors/Sheboygan Sausage Co. AKA, The Bologna Barron of Bluemound Road, Wauwatosa, WI. A graduate of Wauwatosa High School, now Wauwatosa East High School and Yankton College, Yankton, South Dakota. Don was in the Navy Reserves prior to his assignment with the Navy in St. Augustine, FL., where he held the rank of Seaman First Class. Survived by his brother James Kohorn of Hernando, FL, his 3 sons: Phil Kohorn of Green Bay, Perry Kohorn of Milwaukee, Paul Kohorn and wife Jackie of Aurora, IL. Also survived by his long-term life partner Jennie Tweeden and extended family of Eric Tweeden, son to Jennie and Michelle Becker, daughter to Jennie. Further survived by his grandchildren, great grandchildren, and Charlie the cat. A quiet, gentle, warm loving man to many. Don’s generosity and moral support toward others was on going. Don was an avid reader and loved watching a variety of sports, especially the Brewers and Packers. Don enjoyed his 5-year stint as Scout Master with Troop 157 from Milwaukee leading numerous camping trips and community activities. Don will be missed by all that knew him. Funeral service to be held on Friday, July 2 visitation from 9AM-11AM with service to follow at WISCONSIN MEMORIAL PARK-FAMILY CENTER, 12875 W.
