Lillian Marie Reeves Obituary

Lillian Marie Reeves gained her angel wings on June 29, 2021 after a brief illness.   She was born on March 11, 1932 near Paris, Arkansas.  She moved to the Little Rock area and met her future husband Fred S. Reeves, Jr.  Lillian was a stay at home mom raising her three boys.  In her later years she enjoyed helping to take care of her grandchildren.   She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.  She also was a member of the Arkansas Home Extension Club where her group made things for the Arkansas Children’s Hospital and the Breast Cancer Center.  She loved to go to garage sales in the area, mainly buying games and toys for her grandchildren and also books since she was an avid reader.  Reading was a great pastime for her.   She also loved to do water aerobics for her exercise going several times a week.  Lillian was dedicated to her family.  She loved her children and grandchildren more than anything else.    Lillian is survived by her sons James Reeves (Sharon) from Austin, Texas;  John Reeves and Joe Reeves from Sherwood, Arkansas.   Surviving grandchildren Joshua Reeves, Justin Reeves (Kamrin), Nick Reeves, Ashley Reeves, Allison Reeves and Katie Reeves; Great-grandchildren Emorie Reeves and Sienna Reeves; Sisters Mary Appleton and Anita Core.  Lillian was preceded in death by her husband Fred S. Reeves, Jr.   We will miss her so very much, but one day we will see her again.

Visitation will be 5:00PM Friday, July 2 at Smith-Sherwood Funeral Home (7700 Hwy 107) with a rosary starting at 6:00PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00AM Saturday, July 3 at Immaculate Conception Church.
