Eugene R. "Bob" Wagner

<p>Eugene R. &quot;Bob&quot; Wagner, 82, (and his sidekick Charlie) of Fort Wayne passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2021, at home surrounded by family.&nbsp; Born August 20, 1938, in Delphos, OH, he was a son of the late Eugene and Viola Wagner.&nbsp; He was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church and was a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus.&nbsp; For 17 years he was an usher at Notre Dame football games.&nbsp; Bob served in the U.S Army and was a member of American Legion Post 47.&nbsp; In 2000 Bob retired from Dana Corp.&nbsp; Over 14 years Bob fought 4 different types of cancers.&nbsp; Bob is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Donna; children, Deb Wagner and Michael Wagner; grandsons, Robert Wagner and Issac (Kylee) Wagner; siblings, Marilyn (Robert) German, Jeannine (Daniel) Filler and Kenneth (Mary Ann) Wagner; stepbrother, Robert (Linda) Lause; and stepsister, Janice (Jerry) Wessel.&nbsp; He was also preceded in death by his brother, Melvin (Pat) Wagner.&nbsp; Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am, Saturday, July 3, 2021, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4916 Trier Rd with calling one hour prior. Visitation also Friday, July 2, 2021, 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave., with Rosary at 3:30 pm.&nbsp; Private burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park.&nbsp; Memorial contributions may be made to Masses at St Charles Borromeo Catholic Church or Cancer Services of NE Indiana.&nbsp;</p>
