Michael Timothy Moore

Michael T. Moore "Mike", 82, of Leavenworth, died Tuesday, June 29, 2021, at home. He was born January 30, 1939, the son of Benjamin and Dorothy (Fellman) Moore. On Oct. 17, 1959, Michael married Barbara Heckman. She survives at the home. He is also survived by two sons, Michael Moore and Timothy (Sue) Moore both of Leavenworth; a sister, Patricia Simpson of Leavenworth; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Barbara Schlonga, Phyllis Mitchell and Kathleen Vaughn. Michael retired from the Leavenworth Fire Department after 25 years of service. After retirement he devoted most of his time to his business Moore Cabinet Shop. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, July 9, 2021, at the R. L. Leintz Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Friday, at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to St. Casimir Church or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
