Frank E. Majdecki Sr.

Frank E. Majdecki Sr. Bay City, Michigan Mr. Frank Majdecki Sr., 65, passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at his home following an eight-and-a-half-year long battle with stage 4 lung and brain cancer. He was born on February 24, 1956 to Joseph Sr. and Georgiana (Gray) Majdecki in Toledo, Ohio. He was married to Nancy Ueberroth at the Bay County Court House on July 15, 1992, 28 years married, together for 36 years. Frank worked as a mechanic for 18 years at Dunlop Pontiac. He was then a pro-fisherman and work for Off Shore Tackle, head of production (called the Board Man) until the present time. His nicknames were Board Man aka Shank, Barney (the purple boat) and Uncle Frank. Frank’s hobbies were league bowling, fishing, pro-fisherman, tri-city speedway as security, Pro-Fishing Tournaments, gambling, Fourth of July Fireworks. He enjoyed the holidays and decorating, camping, spending time with the grandkids and loved life to the fullest. He was a member of St. James Church, Saginaw Bay Walleye Club since 1988, Walleye for Warriors, PWT in Fisherman, MWC, and President of the Walleye Club (2007-2010). He is survived by Nancy and their children; Frank Majdecki Jr. of Pinconning, Michigan and daughters; Kami Lynn LaBerge Trawick of Bay City, Michigan, and Amanda Spaulding of Garland, Texas. nine grandchildren; Jeffery Jr. and MaKalyn Cook, Ryan and Tyler Majdecki, Autumn Chapman, Andrew, Lucus and Lillian Trawick, and Alexis Spaulding. Brothers; Leonard Majdecki, and James (Jay) (Karen) Majdecki Brother/Sisters-in-Law; Dennis (Shirley) Ueberroth, Linda Quigley. He was preceded in death by his brothers; Joseph and Robert Majdecki and Brother-in-law Ron Quigley. Cremation has taken place and no services scheduled at this time. The family would like to extend a “Thank You” to all of Frank’s doctors; Dr. Jonathon Abramson, Dr. N. Ahmed and Dr. Shahzad Manawar, his nurses and especially his oldest grandson, Jeffery Cook Jr., who was there to help his wife (NaNa Nancy) with his appointments and care at home. He meant so much to Frank, was just like a son to him.
