Brenda Carol (Doyle) Martin, 69, wife of Henry T. “H.T.” Martin, of 85 Chestnut Avenue, Craigsville passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at her residence. Mrs. Martin was born in Craigsville, Virginia on February 12, 1952, a daughter of the late Donald Blake “Tucker” Doyle and Marie “Rita” (Shifflett) Doyle. Brenda cherished the time she spent with her family and dearly loved her grandson. She enjoyed animals and was always willing to do “Anything for anybody”. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Gary “Butch” Doyle and a sister, Pamela Ann (Doyle) Stuples. In addition to her husband of fifty years, she is survived by a son, Stephen B. Martin of Staunton; a grandson, Tucker Blake Martin; two sisters, Nancy Doyle of Craigsville and Bernice Shifflett of Elkton; a sister-in-law, Connie Doyle and a special niece, Tina (Stuples) Burnette and her husband, Roger “J.R.” and their children, Clayton and Ashleigh. A Celebration of Life will be conducted 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 2, 2021 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Pamela Campbell. There will be no public viewing. Burial will follow in the Craigsville Community Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Terry Brooks, Nathan Karr, Allen Rawley, Cyrus Walker, Roland Brown, and Roger Burnette. Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
