Susan Ellen Scrogham, 69, of Goshen, died at 9:41 am, on Tuesday, June 29 at Goshen Hospital. She was born on September 23, 1951, in Goshen, to John Ned and Joy (Larimer) McDonald. She is survived by a son, Robert Scrogham of Middlebury; two grandchildren, Logan and Madison Scrogham; two sisters, Mary Jo McDonald of Mt. Prospect, IL and Cindy Garver of Long Beach, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Matthew Scrogham. Susan was an active member of Crystal Valley Missionary, where she was the leader of the prayer team. She was affectionately known as a "Prayer Warrior”. Her love for Christ was the center of her life. Susan was an accountant and had worked for her parent’s craft business, McDonald Country Crafts, at the Shipshewana Flea Market. She also worked as an LPN at Elkhart General Hospital and was involved with the Elkhart County 4-H Sheep Club. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 7:00 pm on Friday, July 2 followed by a 7:00 pm funeral service at Crystal Valley Missionary, 233 US-20, Middlebury. Services will be conducted by Pastor Dave Rowland. Burial will be in Mack Cemetery, Middlebury, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Middlebury Food Pantry.
