Samuel L. Nash (S.L.) was born November 27, 1942, to the late Fred Sr. and Versie Lee Nash in Lewisville, Arkansas. S.L. passed away at home surrounded by his beloved family on June 29, 2021.

S.L. was a loving husband, father, granddaddy, great granddaddy, brother uncle, pops and friend. S.L. was a jack of all trades, retiring from Toledo Paper Box and then went on to own his own businesses including an arcade and a bar.

S.L. was preceded in death by his wife; Veralise (Lucy) Nash, his parents; Fred Sr. and Versie Lee Nash, his sister; Betty Banks and Christene Nash, brothers; Benny Ray and Fred Nash Jr. and a special son in-law Gary Allen.

S.L. Leaves to cherish his memories his children; Veralise (Peahez) Nash-Allen, Orlandus Hearn, Alecia Smith all of
Toledo, Ohio, Sheree Nash-Bumpus of Sylvania, Ohio, and Tamika Fisher of Glendale, Arizona, one loving sister; Bobby (Frank) Whitherspoon of Hope, Arkansas, brother; Thomas (Fannie) Nash of Toledo, Ohio, 15 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, bonus daughter; Tiffany Meredith, best friend Sammy O'Nell and Leonard Gregory, Sr., and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
