<p>Augusta - Mr. Joseph &quot;Joe&rdquo; Ronald Lentz, 80, beloved husband of Mrs. Donna N. Lentz, died Tuesday, June 29, 2021, at his residence.</p> <p>Mr. Lentz was born in Newport News, Va., but had made Augusta his home for many years. He was retired from the Construction Industry. He was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.&nbsp;</p> <p>Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Donna Newman Lentz, of Augusta; his two sons, Joseph Ronald &ldquo;Ronnie&rdquo; Lentz Jr (Diane), Brian Lentz (Edna); his daughter, Joan Young (Harry); brothers, David Lentz (Debbie), Raymond Lentz (PJ) and Jim Young (Sandy); sisters Rita Powell (John), Sylvia Lentz-Garver and Susan Lentz-Dyszkewicz; 8 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.</p> <p>Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, July 5, 2021 in the Westview Cemetery in Augusta, with Dr. Charles Drummond officiating.</p> <p>Friends may call at the residence. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. at the graveside.</p> <p>You may sign a guest book at the funeral home or online at www.curtisfuneralhome.com</p> <p>Curtis Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>

My family has lived next to Joe and Donna for many years. Mr. Joe was a very sweet soul, and he will be greatly missed. He could never remember my sister name, but always knew mine. I'll always remember you!!!!!
