<p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Dorothea &ldquo;Dot&rdquo; Lee Thompson, beloved daughter of the late Methodist Reverend A. Irwin Orndoff and Edith &ldquo;Mimi&rdquo; Lewis Orndoff of Virginia, passed away on June 29, 2021 at the age of 89 years.&nbsp; She was preceded by her husband of 39 years, Robert Thompson, and is survived by 3 children, 4 stepchildren, and many grandchildren.</p> <p>Dot was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.&nbsp; She was a &ldquo;giver&rdquo; to all without regards to herself.&nbsp; Dot was well known for her quick wit.&nbsp; She was a strong woman with many talents and never met a challenge too hard.&nbsp; Dot loved to play golf, play cards, read books, listen to classical music, and complete crosswords.</p> <p>A private graveside service will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery in Granville.</p> <p>Online condolences may be expressed at www.mcpeekhoekstra.com.</p>

Dorothea “Dot” Lee Thompson, beloved daughter of the late Methodist Reverend A. Irwin Orndoff and Edith “Mimi” Lewis Orndoff of Virginia, passed away on June 29, 2021 at the age of 89 years.  She was preceded by her husband of 39 years, Robert Thompson, and is survived by 3 children, 4 stepchildren, and many grandchildren.

Dot was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.  She was a “giver” to all without regards to herself.  Dot was well known for her quick wit.  She was a strong woman with many talents and never met a challenge too hard.  Dot loved to play golf, play cards, read books, listen to classical music, and complete crosswords.

A private graveside service will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery in Granville.
