Josephine Louise Birmeier, 3, of Plankinton, SD passed away Friday, June 25, 2021 at Avera Queen of Peace Hospital in Mitchell, SD. A Celebration of Life will be 10:30 A.M. Saturday, July 3, 2021 at the United Methodist Church in Plankinton. Visitation will be held at the church from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. Friday, July 2, 2021 with a 7:00 P.M. Prayer Service. Memorials for Josephine may be directed to: “Josephine Memorial Fund” at any Wells Fargo Bank or to United Methodist Church, PO Box 7, Plankinton, SD 57368. Josephine Louise Birmeier was born on September 2, 2017 to Zachery Paul Randall Privett and Katrina Marie Birmeier in Mitchell, SD. She loved playing with cars and in the dirt, coloring, shopping, all animals and smelling flowers. Grateful for having shared in Josephine’s life: her father, Zachery Privett of Mitchell, SD; her mother, Katrina Birmeier and Dartanian Norton of Plankinton, SD; her sister, Stephanie Jane Birmeier of Plankinton, SD; grandparents: Lance and Mary Johnson, Shawn and Angie Privett, Terry and Paula Hagen, Clint and Currin Finn, Jim and Peggy Cook; great grandparents, Russell and Ruth Irene Birmeier; great grandmother, Deb Privett; aunts and uncles: Alan (Jamie) Birmeier, Raelee (Joe) Bilben, Madison Privett, Alison Privett, Jacob Hagen, Marissa (Jesse) Johanneson, Mercedes Kotalik (Andy Barbec), Alyssa Arens (Dylan Eifert), Lindsey Totton and Celeste Cook; along with cousins: Isaac Bilben, Jade and Jamison Johanneson, Zoey and Miles Barbec, Braxton and Paisley Eifert, Rieghker and Sterling Kelly, Bohdi Vawser; and many friends.
