Morgan Nathan Presnell, 59, Kingsport, passed away Saturday, June 19, 2021, at his residence. Morgan was born on January 21, 1962, in Johnson City, to the late Willis and Celia Goodwin Presnell. He spent his life as a laborer doing carpentry and painting, but his real passion was golf. In addition to his parents, Morgan was preceded in death by: his brother, Harold Presnell; sister, Ann Presnell; his ex-wife, whom he loved dearly, Shelby Canova; and his special friend, whom he considered a brother, Johnny Self. Survivors include: daughter, Morgan “Brittany” Presnell; son, Thomas William Basil Presnell; step children, Stephanie Putnam, Joshua Putnam, Ashley Orsbon, and Brett Orsbon; sisters, Connie Presnell and Patty Presnell; two brothers, Gordie Presnell and Buddy Presnell; many special nieces and nephews; many special friends, including his friend and claimed brother, Pops; and his cat, Cadillac. A visitation will be held from 6 PM until 7 PM on Saturday, July 3, 2021, at Morris-Baker Funeral Home.
